I often work with the Apprentice above me and financial controller to work through daily book keeping tasks and year audit preparation. I work both independently and collaboratively to do my daily tasks. This integrates perfectly with my study as majority of tasks are 100% relevant.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am unbelievably supported with both my work and study. There is a lot of focus on how I find the work, how to improve, how to work best to my pace.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a whole new side to accountancy that I previously was without. Daily bookkeeping and management account tasks allow me to see a new perspective on Accounting and finance.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured. My role is clear and there no confusion. The organisation is structured clear and consistently making it fair and easy to work with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is generally lots of support from all staff within all departments. Communication between departments allows for better rapport to be built which has helped staff support me better as they know me on a more personal level.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider works closely with my employer to allow me to work effectively but what’s best for me. Regular communication between my employer and provider have helped me stay on track and focused.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification and day to day work are hand in hand. As a do processes i learn the basics and basis behind them which consolidates my knowledge.
