Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves making sales calls to companies and clients to win new business as well as build relationships with the companies we already to supply to. It also involves interviewing candidates for work, understanding their needs to match them to the roles we have available to not only help clients find workers but to also find candidates roles that suit what they are looking for and help them in their own career path.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I fully enjoyed the programme. Not only did it help me to understand the industry in more depth, it also helped me to feel more confident in my role as i was gaining more knowledge along with tips and tricks i can utilise on a day to day basis to really help myself develop my own career to progress with the company.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt that this industry isn't as easy as it seems. Everyday is different and you can be dealing with multiple things at any given time. This has helped to develop my resillience as not everything is always as great as it seems sometimes, but i have learned to not take things personally and that sometimes a no can be turned into a yes. So it isn't as awful as it seems being rejected after your first interaction with a client. It has also helped me to develop my confidence when communicating with people, as i could be fairly quiet when meeting new people or large groups but now i feel like i can walk into a room and hold a conversation with anyone, regardless of the level they are at in their career as it doesn't feel as daunting.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Unbelieveably so! at no point did it ever feel like i was inundated with work and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I had enough time to complete my day to day role but als managed time with my mentour to meet regularly to discuss upcoming projects and deadlines
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The support was like nothing i have experienced in other businesses before. Everyone is always on hand to help whether it is over the phone or colleagues in the office. The willingness for everyone to succeed is something i will always admire within the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I had regular in depth training days and both face to face and online and again it is easily the best training i have received in any company
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It was a huge help. I have more confidence due to the in depth training and research into the role that i have completed on the back of my apprenticeship and feedback from my mentor
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
we often hold events or "games" that the whole business nation wide get involved in and we get regular upddates via email on who is winning which keeps a feel good factor in the business and injects a little bit of fun at work into all the branches. We also take part in Pride events that i had the pleasure of attending to represent our business out in the community.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend The Best Connection Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I have genuinely never worked in a business that care for each and every one of their colleagues and invest in their staff with training and support as much as the Best Connection. I have worked at a high level in various big chained companies and none of them have ever provided such a sense of togetherness and a willing to succeed together.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Best Connection Group?
Be yourself. Don't change because you think it is corporate or hide who you really are. Everyone is welcome from all different paths of life and you will be given the best training and support to not only help the business succeed but to also develop yourself into more senior roles with the business.
