Within my role I am given the opportunity to explore different placements within different departments of Project Controls. For example, Planning or estimating.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

All Placements are very clear and open-minded. Apprentices within the same course are very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. It is easy to communicate with managers/mentors if need be.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Leant how to use new software as well as communicating, presenting and overall knowledge skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Sometimes placements can be hard to find, however our placement manager is great at communicating to help us fill the time by helping or other projects.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Everyone is happy to answer questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have college days every week which enables us to talk to our tutor and express any questions. Furthermore, our line managers are happy to help us find training courses/reviewing our work to help us progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Our college course lines up with the work that we do within our placements.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We attend many conferences and apprentice events which gives us the opportunity to network.

Why?
Communication is clear and questions are welcomed for new apprentices. All placements are friendly and happy to help. Furthermore, the apprentices within the course are all friendly which helps to create a friendly work environment.
