Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

i work directly with a senior programme manager on a day-to-day basis. I coordinate meetings, meeting minutes, create cost tables/programmes/project trackers. Doing this is very good for my professional development due to the fact that I work closely with senior stakeholders and I am learning something new everyday.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am thoroughly enjoying my programme as I am learning both professionally and educationally at the same time. Having a strict schedule has made me become a more organised individual and is helping me adapt to a more professional lifestyle.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My communication skills have developed a lot since starting the programme in September, as I am required to speak and comment in a professional manner. In addition I have learned how to separate and manage my time more efficiently, which has benefitted both my professional and personal life.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well organised. I get plenty of notice when compulsory development sessions are taking place, which allows me to schedule around them so I can stay on top of my work load while attending.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have multiple support pathways spread out between Mace and my project team, all of which are more than willing to lend me a hand when I need one
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from BPP, including their HSW team and my uni coach. BPP reach out once a month to ask how I am getting on, if I am worried about anything and they give me solutions with what I can do to resolve these issues.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The content which I learn is directly linked to what I perform in my job role. For example, managing/negotiating with stakeholders, I have to do this on a daily basis so learning specially how to communicate and manage them is extremely helpful. Overall, my learning improves my professional performance a lot.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are multiple opportunities that are at hand to me at Mace to participate in. One of which is a run club, which is very supporting and fun to do with my colleagues.

It is a very warm, supportive and inviting environment to be in, Throughout these past 6 months since starting at Mace I have felt heard and extremely comfortable, which I wasn't expecting to occur so quickly into starting the programme.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace Consult?
Just be yourself, don't shield your personality because you will naturally gravitate to certain individual within the company and you will create strong friendships.
