Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I currently work in agency and am involved in various live instructions for different property types. My typical day involves preparing online sale data rooms, writing sale particulars, talking to vendors and prospective purchasers and liaising with third party firms such as lawyers to complete deals.
There are also lots of opportunities to be proactively involved in office and company wide initiatives. These provide career growth, networking and upskilling opportunities.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
No day is the same, which keeps it very interesting. I thoroughly enjoy my job and have supportive colleagues. The university component allows me to contextualise work from a theoretical perspective. Achieving a balance between university, work, family and friends can be challenging, but what I have learnt is you can have everything, but not at once. At times assignment deadlines will take precedent over having fun, but nevertheless, the apprenticeship period has been invaluable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Throughout the programme my communication, English, maths and excel skills have developed. Every day provides an opportunity for new learning.
