Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
on a day to day basis we tend to do all the routines on the machine which acts as preventative maintenance as if you find anything broken you can fix it before it causes more damage. after this you tend to do remedial work on equipment in the workshop whilst you wait for a fault call out from operators
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
this was a very welcoming programme that had a lot of benefits to maturing quickly. this is because i was in college in Blackburn for 9 months with other apprentices which made the role very enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
i have learnt multiple different skills due to having to do a load of different courses whilst at college like: wire and test, electronics, fitting, BIT, mech maintenance, elec maintenance, and PLC's

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
could've been organised a little better as there were a couple unnecessary problems that occurred for all apprentices during our learning but for the most part it was fine.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
i have received a lot of support from my employer and also been told who to go to if i need something.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
great support made us all very aware of mental health.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
enables me to understand day to day tasks at my workplace instead of being clueless
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
no i do not take part in these and i am also unsure if they even are any to take part in.
