Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
For first year, I have currently been based down in Cannington for 9 months at the University Centre Somerset. After this, I will be on placement at AWE and will return to the University for block release in 2nd and 3rd year.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The content I am learning at University is interesting and relevant to my job role. Yet, I cannot comment much on my placements yet as I have not had one thus far.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned lots of new skills from the University such as new softwares, experiments and how to write an academic report

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Our timetable for the next academic year has yet to be released which creates some uncertainty but otherwise no complaints.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
We have monthly check ins with our employer and they are always available through Teams or email.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Due to larger groups, it is difficult sometimes to get one-to-one support, but generally I feel I get enough support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I think the content is relevant and useful towards my job
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
At college, there are few activities to get involved in as a lot of sports clash with lectures. I cannot comment on work socials.
