Yes, prior to joining the apprenticeship scheme I knew very little about the rail industry. Training was thorough and comprehensive.

Very well organised
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Good support. Of particular note were my apprenticeship coach who was very helpful, knowledgeable and supportive throughout. As well as our trainer throughout learning The Rules.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A well equipped apprenticeship scheme with good support that leads to a good job with (hopefully) a rewarding career.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Southeastern Railway?
Keep up with your knowledge throughout, and realise it is a marathon, not a sprint. It does take a long time to get qualified.
