Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really do enjoy my time here - there is work to be done but you are surrounded by amazing people that make it worth your while

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
My communication skills have improved and it helps with first impressions with clients. I've become a lot more social and pushed myself to volunteer in positions I would never normally partake in. There's still a long way to go though and I'm excited for the growth

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is well defined and the company takes feedback on board to make it more tailored to out intake.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
We have a dedicated apprenticeship network and they play such an active role in bridging the gap between us and our employer. They are amazing and it helps that the NAO is open to feedback and working with us!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Passing our exams is just as important as gaining practical work experience in the NAO. There are lots of support systems available throughout the learning process.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
There are so many concepts that I learn in class and can confidently recognise and apply in the workplace. I am quite satisfied
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have so many networks, constantly hosting events, there are so many ways to get involved outside of work! We have a health Newcastle v London football rivalry (between the two offices). It's amazing! There's a lot of people who have causes close to their heart and share it with colleagues. You can never be bored at the NAO.
