As an Apprentice Surveyor, the key role of my job is to assist my colleagues in producing valuation reports for residential, commercial and development assets. These range from Red Book Valuations for loan security purposes, to initial desktop valuations for indicative purposes. I assist throughout the whole process which includes fielding enquiries and reporting fee quotes, setting up the job and collating due diligence, inspecting the property and taking notes, and gathering comparable evidence all which is then analysed within a report.
