Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a Customer Operations Future Manager I was responsible for a section of the operational area of Inverness Delivery Office. I was responsible for resourcing, performance management, health and safety and engagement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The Babington course I undertook provided a comprehensive and valuable education in how to manage with clarity and purpose. Leading a team, providing good levels of engagement and communication and project management. I quickly became aware of the benefits this learning had in real world terms.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Performance management - understanding how to manage different personality with equity.
Resource planning - learning the importance of proactive planning.
Project management - developing the skills necessary to see a project through from beginning to end.

Babington had structured the course brilliantly to tie learning in with real world experiences.

My line manager provided excellent support throughout my apprenticeship. Regular 1-2-1 meeting and enshrining my learning time.

I can' t praise my mentor enough. Calm, knowledgeable and contactable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Coming from a different industry, I very limited experience of logistics and operational management. My apprenticeship provided a framework upon which I could develop my skills further.
