Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
I am really enjoying my graduate apprenticeship at Savills. Although I am only six months into the two‑and‑a‑half‑year programme, I have already learned a lot and continue to develop my knowledge every day. The graduate HR team is very supportive, providing us with structured training and support. I have been able to build strong relationships and friendships with colleagues, and there are plenty of extracurricular opportunities available to graduates. Despite being based in a regional office, I still feel well connected to the wider graduate cohort through graduate events at Margret Street. Savills also provides dedicated time for me to study towards my masters, which has been invaluable to my learning and development.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
So far I have mainly been working on property valuations so leisure and trade related property. This has involved completing due diligence enquires, finding comparable evidence, analysing accounts and practicing various methods of valuation. My job also involves getting out of the office and going on property inspections which I really enjoy! My responsibilities on inspection include taking site notes, photos and measurements.
