Positive. Good support and friendly team.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I like the analysis and preparation of reports.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I get to work on a range of project scales and types and you are given as much as responsibility as is appropriate to enable you to learn quickly and develop.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I haven't really engaged with them but I am aware there is a fund for getting a bike, private mental health care if needed etc
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Great exposure to a range of projects and elements within planning including the legal side, as well as general site appraisal , client relationships etc
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

The role is supported by additional CPD and training opportunities provided for by the company and if there are local events that are relevant to my career I can typically reimburse ticket costs.

How is your work-life balance?

It is definitely a bit intense doing a masters alongside full-time work but this is inevitable and my team is sympathetic when needed.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Clear good working relationships between and within teams. Quickly made friends who I see outside of work as well as within. Plenty of opportunities to get to know the rest of the office and grad days are organised to meet other people in similar roles across the company.
How would you rate Savills initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

This is good. clear training and celebration of various identity groups and opportunities for support networks people may identify with.
How would you rate Savills CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

Charity and volunteering opportunities. Proactive company culture that if you were interested in doing more this would probably be supported.

Why?
I feel it was easy to integrate and I enjoy the work I was given. Team and line manager have been particularly supportive and there is useful feedback and opportunties for review.

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
I think it would be the same advice I'd give to any role, do a bit of research but remember it is a training role and they are not expecting you to know all the technicalities. What they want is proactive and pay attention, be personable and prepared.
