Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Management of rural estates both privately owned and institutional. Consultancy advice to developers on strategic land and ancillary management of individual projects such as wetlands and environmental sites
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme, there is a good range of work with keeps it interesting.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Many professional skills due to being client facing and involved in management decisions. Opportunities to build personal skills are good, presenting and regularly meeting with clients and other parties

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is largley structured. Five years of uni with last two years working towards APC. More could be done at start of APC journey to understand process and requirements.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A good level. Time should be provided more regularly for off the job training an other experince at times.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A good amount. Regular check ups and sessions are provided
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Better understanding of role case law, legislation etc. University is good for knowledge. Sessions could be more focussed or adampted to a roking role. Some intriductoray modules are taught late on
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I regularly attend social events, but am aware of may more sports and activities availiable. There are harder to access in a rural office and not at a main hub.
