Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Part of my role is to update new build sites within our database at Savills, sometimes as part of these updates i would be required to do site visits. I also have a role of updating our map with new build sites and ensuring it is as up to date as possible. Day to day i would work on multiple sites updating them with availability from house builders website and also using systems to get registered sales.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my programme. It was fun and had a perfect balance between learning on the job and learning through my qualification side. I found my course very interesting and it operated smoothly throughout.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed and learned many new skills. Since joining Savills my communication skills have massively improved, this is down to communicating more with colleagues and working more with people in general. Being a researcher has gave me new skills and helped me to get better at problem solving and looking for solutions.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was structured very well and as mentioned previously it ran smoothly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received lots of support from my employer. This included regular catch up meetings to ensure i was doing okay and if i needed any assistance. My managers always made sure i had enough time to complete work and allowed me spare time when neccesary.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had lots of support from my training provider. I could message him at any time and i would get a quick response which was helpful. I also had regular catch up calls to ensure i was happy with my work and this was a time where i could raise any issues or concerns that i had, which i never had any but it was always nice to have that opportunity.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It definitely helped me to perform better in my role. Working with others and learning about data was a key aspect for me performing better within my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is plenty of events on which are fun to attend and always a nice option to have.

It is a great company which provides younger people with a chance to thrive in their careers. The support is always there from people within the company and it is a great place to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
Always learn about the company and read the values on how they act and represent themselves. Be confident when talking about yourself and always be prepared to answer questions they may have back for you. Be yourself and give everything you have got.
