Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned many new skills in sales like how to develop a successful proposal, how to deliver a good demo, and how to run strategies with pur customers. All of these skills are built and kept strong by frequent meetings where the team will provide constructive criticism to each other. This is always delivered in an encouraging way. The company has also provided me with sales training in the form of meetings with a sales professional, numerous reading materials, and access to a B2B sales degree apprenticeship via leeds trinity university.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I have found some aspects of the degree difficult to get into as the structure has changed a few times, but overall it's been easy to follow.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
lots of support to help with meeting otj hours and to implement the things I have learned during the degree into the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Frequent meetings and opportunities to ask questions
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have begun recently and have already started implementing the ideas I have learned back into the company
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Plenty of networking events and team building days, including sports (not mandatory to play), and events such as the Forecourt Show.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EdgePetrol to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Easily the best job I have ever had. It's an amazing team, every single person brings their absolute best and is encouraging and great to work with. The pay is great, the commission is great, they do not micromanage and give every team member and opportunity to implement their own creative ideas. They do not suppress individuality and allow people to dress in their own clothing, wear / dye their hair how they like to, display tattoos etc.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EdgePetrol?
Ask questions, bring your own ideas to the table, don't be afraid to be wrong / not know something yet. They are keen to teach and learn. Be confident and yourself.
