Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves working with clients, colleagues and underwriters in order to produce quality work which is to be sent out to clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
i very much like my programme

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have bettered my skills in working in a corporate office environment, and i have developed my skills in conveying information to different audiences

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
i think it is good but it could be better, the provider we use for the apprenticeship is not the best and the people they use to teach us things are not the most reliable, with online sessions often feeling rushed and key information missed. the videos they provide also feel clinical and not engaging at all, leaving the only viable resource available to be the textbook which can get very tedious after a while. further to this, during my LM1 period we were told we would be getting sets of flashcards for the exam to help us learn, these never arrived, i am currently undertaking my LM2 exam and similarly, the only resource i consider viable is the textbook.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer and team are excellent in answering any questions i have, my line manager is very lenient when it comes to my studying, always allowing me to take extra time to do more studying and supporting me in my work ad study.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My tutor is quite forgiving, understanding that sometimes my job commitments get in the way of my studies and she is very understanding on these matters.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
there are some instances where the things i learn crop up in my day to day role, giving me a wider context and understanding of the situation, this does not happen too frequently but i imagine the longer the apprenticeship goes on and the more i learn, the more it will relate to my job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I sometimes go on networking events with the early careers network, i go to some careers fairs and i sometime play paddle with my team.
