I am in a consulting area of my department where I complete Proposals, Admin, Client meetings and Reports for Lenders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I generally find the programme interesting and useful, although my experience has varied depending on the modules. Some parts are more engaging and enjoyable than others, but overall it provides a good opportunity to learn new ideas and develop skills related to the subject.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have developed both social and technical skills during the programme. I have improved my digital skills by using different software and online tools for research, assignments, and presentations. I have also developed my presentation skills, becoming more confident when explaining ideas and speaking in front of others. In addition, I have developed my insurance knowledge through achieving my diploma.

However, there were times when the support was limited, as they restricted opportunities to go beyond the core requirements. This made it difficult to explore further learning or develop skills beyond the set expectations, which affected my ability to fully advance and challenge myself in the programme.

I feel that the qualification from my training provider has helped me perform better in my role. It has improved my understanding of key insurance concepts and strengthened my knowledge of the industry. This has made me more confident when applying what I have learned in my day-to-day work.
