Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I typically use languages such as: SQL, C#, python to build a data analytics platform.
Day to day it varies quite a lot I could be ingest a new data source, coding a new tool to help with tech debt or testing lots of opportunities to go out and look at new ways of doing things
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The actual apprenticeship is okay, it covers what I need for the role and is shows of tools I may use, however it is very linear and doesn't always go into a lot of details. I see it more as a refresher of knowledge than the definitive guide to what the role is and actually understanding system design

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Constantly learning new skills no day is the same and there are always opportunities that I can look at and further myself. Most obvious skills would be C# and a strong understanding of the Azure catalogue of tools

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Both the lessons and essay pieces required are split nicely, for the essays it's easy to know what they're covering and the prompts are overall "questions" are designed in a way where without realising you'll end up covering some of the ksbs needed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Excellent support with the apprenticeship, be that asking questions or giving me additional time to focus on a specific project needed for the apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Great feedback provided in essays and always there to if I need to ask questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It's useful, I've been able to keep refreshing the things I've learnt while on the job I wouldn't say it's provided me too much information on other ways of working but they have definitely given me a different view on what tools are out there
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Huge networks to connect with both locally and internationally if you can think of a group it probably exists. Always activities that you can partake in like seminars or team quizzes
