I am completing the Level 7 Senior Leader Programme; to enable my work to move from purely operation into a more strategic direction.

I am learning lots of skills around leadership such as communication, finance and marketing.

Corndel, my training provider, are excellent and have a very flexible and supportive approach to learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have a regular 121 regarding my apprenticeship with my mentor every week and I receive my allocated 20% off the job development time
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Excellent support, I have regular meetings with my coach and also quarterly reviews with my coach, mentor and line manager. I can always contact my coach if I require additional information and advice.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is starting to make me look at my work from a different aspect and think about the bigger picture of my actions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We do have some of this, particularly within our care unit People & Culture. We have a twice a year Olympics (Summer and Winter); we have activities for Christmas such as Quiz and competitions. Every month on a smaller scale within the Learning & Development department we will have a Snack and Chat at a lunchtime.
