Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work at Leeds Town hall and cover pretty much everything electrical that’s installed into the building. From making new cable routes to installing/wiring the new lighting

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy this style of work and would recommend to anyone wanting to get involved in the commercial electrical trade

I’ve been taught discipline and resilience whilst being shown key skills involved in electrical work.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

G&H try to push each apprentice to be the very best, they’ve introduced yearly apprentice tests at the office to keep all apprentices up to date and on track and to see where we need improvement.

Why?

G&H have helped and introduced me into the electrical business and helped develop my skills. They offer competitive pay and understand how hard it is to be an apprentice which they have great understanding towards.
