I really enjoy my role. I onboard candidates from all entities in the business. This includes doing right to work and DBS checks, setting them up on our People system, and issuing contracts.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my apprenticeship a lot. I am learning a lot about business and gaining valuable personal skills. It is challenging at times but I have a lot of good support from colleagues and my tutor.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am developing my people skills and confidence by talking with different people within the business to gain knowledge for my assignments. It is also helping me learn time management skills as you need to be on top of everything while completing an apprenticeship.

My tutor explains a lot about my assignments and we focus on one topic at a time.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer couldn't be more supportive. I get the time to work on my assignments and they encourage me to take further steps.

We have a social committee who throw events for different things throughout the year. Steps are being taken to bring in sports and different events to bring people together.
