Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a new to role HR administrator the learnings and experience gained through completing my CIPD apprenticeship has proven invaluable.
During my apprenticeship I was given time and access to opportunities to be able to complete my assignments and learnings and was well supported throughout by my manager, my team and my wider team with recognition on the benefits of gaining knowledge and experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
In my role, I was immersed in the people practice and I enjoyed the programme, particularly the periods of reflection at the end of each learning module which allowed me to reflect on what I had learned and how I could apply it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I had a good grounding in HR through my previous experiences, but that knowledge was not to any great depth and as such there was opportunity to develop existing skills and grow my confidence

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme was structured well, with an apprenticeship team within the business which supported my initial application and commencement of the course. Following on from this the course provider, BPP, allocated me a coach who continued the support and structure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My manager was aware of the requirements etc and allowed me regular time away from my day job to enable to complete learning objectives.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Training provider, BPP, were very supportive with any questions answered promptly. My coach was always and supported my confidence.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification has given me enhanced understanding of people practice and how best to deliver support in my role. In addition to this, I feel more confident to take actions and to be able to participate in team conversations and during meetings.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have a channel where additional learning opportunities are shared.
