Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role changes 4 times throughout my course. I have 4 seat rotations that allow me gain hands on experience in all sub departments within HR.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme that I am doing is very enjoyable as the work is very interesting, another part of my programme that I enjoy is the culture in the office and working with my colleagues , they are always willing to help and guide you along the way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a lot of existing skills such as teamwork, punctuality and confidence has developed a lot since I first started this programme. The main skill that I have learnt while completing my programme is communication and speaking in front of crowds as I never enjoyed doing this in school. Now I enjoy public speaking and presenting things to people.

My programme is very well organised by the early careers team.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

In Fieldfisher, the Early Careers team is very supportive and is always willing to help. Supervisors are also very good at offering help and support whenever this is needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive a lot of support as there is classes every 2 weeks, tutors that are easily contacted if support is needed, revision classes also take place a couple of weeks before any tests.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

In the programme that I am undertaking, there are a variety of different apprentices. Our units in our course is tailored to each of us and our job roles.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many networking events, charity events: for example Fieldfisher take part in Business Fives football tournament.
