My role is to provide care for the children on a day to day basis, attend to their needs and make sure they feel safe and protected while meeting their milestones and readiness to school and real world.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme a lot so far.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned new information along the way so far and I believe I will continue to do so as I progress. It is always so exciting to know and learn new knowledge and skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme has been very well organised so far, I feel confident and positive to complete each module. When there's doubt or need of any help there's monthly zoom calls or face to face meetings to talk about the module and make you feel more secure. It is quite helpful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There's always support along the way and plenty of opportunities to achieve each modules. Whenever I need time out to complete course work I get time to do so.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There's monthly zoom calls or meetings to discuss and talk about the modules and whilst we do course work there's always feedback on what we can improve. If needed help I can always contact my training provider for help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me a lot as I get to refresh myself with new ideas and more knowledge and in that way it helps me have a better work ethic.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Why?
Kido has made me feel welcome from day 1 and it has been enjoyable working here ever since. the staff are lovely and everyone is like family. It is a nice work environment and a place you can definitely call it second home.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kido Schools UK?
I believe I don't really have much I can advise on, but to come fully confident of yourself, share ideas and give your input and even if you are not confident there are lovely people around to help you and make you feel part of the team or even give you a push.
