Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Im currently working in Billing and this involves me creating invoices which are to be sent out to clients. As well as crating bills it alsdo involves write offs, transfers, amending rates and closing matters.

Starting off as an apprentice I had limited skills in finance but since starting I have learnty multiple skills and have developed both skills needed for my role and also better communication skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured as it has all 4 seats to rotate with in the company as well as having a course for me to part take in.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer have been extremely supportive as my team has give me excellent training and has been patient with my development. The early careers team has also supported me a lot and give me opportunities outside of working in my role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They give me a lot of support such as allowing me time to meet with the tutors when they come into the office and also giving me bi-weekly study day on the day of my classes.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it has alot of benefits as the qualification is tailored towards general business and therefore I am able to enhance my general business skills. However it doesnt specifically tailor towards my role and what im doing in my role currently.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are multiple opportunities outside the office such as a football event, multiple social evenings and lunches. There is also multiple early career events which I try and get involved in.

They are a great company to work for who will always support you in your journey. As it is a top level law firm you will great experience while also having multiple opportunities outside of sitting in the office.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fieldfisher LLP?
Prepare for the interview and assessment centre as they are difficult and will need 100% effort to make it through.
