Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Great role, so much opportunity for work and to make connections. In first 6 months created a chatbot, presented in calls and gave demos, volunteered for extra work e.g. testing software, creating guides. Organised reach out events, attended conferences....
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Nothing bad to say, I get the opportunity to shape my own apprenticeship as I get to chose my team every 6mo. So many people at EON are approachable and easy to work with and ask questions. Great community of apprentices.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Work projects have tied in with uni so easy to develop skills over both - so far from software engineering, data analysis, presenting data, speaking in front of large audiences and learning how to navigate workplace dynamics.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Clear progression routes during the apprenticeship, however my exact placements are undefined until I decide where I want to go but I am given plenty of support should I need it with deciding where to go
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My placement manager, wider team, early careers and community of apprentices are all very welcoming and supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Quick response times from lecturers and they are happy to explain topics/requirements in depth
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Gives me hard and soft skills needed to excel in work projects
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Not much in terms of sports, but there are lots of conferences, awards and events that we have the opportunity to go to
