My programme is very supportive and the work culture is amazing, the work I am given is manageable and enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I am constantly learning about my industry through actively wokring on and playing a role in different projects, I am surrounded by an experienced team who nurture my curiosity, as well as this it aligns with what I study within project management at uni, I've grown in confidence, job ability, and professionalism.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well organised and structured, the early careers team and uni work well to give me a structured plan, I have my uni days off once a week as well as visits to uni, and alternate placements around the business every six months, with midpoint reviews and final reviews.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am incredibly supported, we have an early careers team dedicated to apprentices, buddies that are older apprentices to provide support, mentors that provide constant support within work, supportive managers as well as an assigned mentor for university
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A good amount, we catch up with meetings and make sure I am reaching my KSB's and that my work is aligning with content at uni. We also travel in every couple of months to meet lecturers and can book time with them if struggling or have questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It gives me the theoretical practice that I need to perform within my job, assignments allow reflections on my own experience within the company and projects that I am working on.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, we have many events, apprenticeship awards, multicultural awards, apprentice panels, school visits, site visits, volunteering, support group and networks e.g women in leadership.
