Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On any given work day, I start by going through emails, teams, slack, etc. essentially catching up with anu emails or messages. I then have a look at my current tasks and to dos and based on priority I begin to go through them. Have meetings at any point. Have about and hour break. then round up the day and head back home
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the apprenticeship and the flexibility it offers. allowing you to have a say in all your placements and what you get from them

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a wide range of technical and soft skills. from programming skils, dashboard building skills, confidence in various social and technical platforms. In terms of soft skills, my communication, confidence, leadership, teamwork, time managements skills, etc have all grown and improved

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship course is ery well organised and structured, with lots of help and guidance in helping you understand the whole process
How much support do you receive from your employer?

In terms of support, E.ON goes above and beyond the range of support systems that have been put in place. From mentors to buddies to placement managers, for every issue or questions you might have, there will no shortage of support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The university is also outstanding in the support it provides, with the lecturers being helpful majority of the time, and also support from the support tutor
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are a few areas form the university that can be applied in the various roles at e.on, a lot of the content will be foundational content, but nothing too advanced
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

E.on is outstanding in it's structure and support for it's apprentices. Allowing them to make the most of the apprenticeship and grow their soft and technical skills

My main advise would be having values and a passion that aligns with that of the company.
