Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

A typical day for me involves speaking with suppliers to look at tender opportunities and negotiate contracts. I work on negotiating T&Cs, completing governance checks and networking with suppliers. I will typically have team days in the office to share best practice with my colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I get the opportunity to network with Supply Chain specialists and the experience to apply my academic learnings into real-world supply chain projects.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt how to tender categories, network and communicate with suppliers, and developed my academic writing skills.

I receive loads of support from E.ON, I have all my mentors and buddies to help guide me through my programme and support me within the workplace.

I get invited to many networking opportunities (across the UK and abroad) to learn more about E.ON in different countries. There are also networks to join at work, and I am apart of the careers steerco to further my development and advance my career.
