Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Pricing Painting and Decorating Jobs, Winning contracts, managing costs of jobs, managing people - Day-to-Day I will spend the Majority of my time out and about, Pricing work at different places across the midlands, Managing Projects, Going out to site. I will only really spend 2-3 Hours a day in the office per day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship so far - i get a lot of autonomy and freedom with my job which allows me to make mistakes and learn from them - I get lots of support from my Branch Manager and colleagues on any questions or problems im having and i get lots of support on my course aswell

I have developed my communication skills massively whilst working at this job, UI have learnt managing skills, Organisational Skills and Much more.

I have a really well-balanced and well structured work programme, I have time each week to complete my college work.

My Branch manager is very supportive, when I first started I was going out to site, pricing jobs and shadowing him constantly and have learnt a lot of new skills and managing techniques.

I have constant support and I am given time each week to complete my work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would say its definitely helped me with learning the technical terms of things and help with managing knowledge, But I would say I've learnt most from being out on site and learning the job that way.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Why?
A very good company to work for with a big family history. People are very helpful and experienced in the work that they do.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bagnalls?
The job can be hard work and sometimes long hours but its also very rewarding mentally and financially so you get out what you put in.
