Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Supporting the team which I am working in at that time. This can include anything from facilitating meetings between various stakeholders to actioning real tasks which will support in service aircraft and our customers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is a fully enjoyable job with a range of exciting opportunities such as travel which I find makes the job really enjoyable and worthwile

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have been able to learn and develop a range of new skills which I was unaware of prior to taking this job. Both technical and non technical.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is really well structured in terms of placements and support systems in place throughout the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support is advertised and approachable whenever it is needed and in any capacity.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from the college is really good and they are contactable throughout the week even when at work which is good.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are various things we study at college which, in my opinion, are not directly relevant to my role. other than this, I think it aids performance well.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a range of ERG's which are for everyone and cover a range of topics. There are also a range of volunteering opportunities for apprentices in local schools to promote airbus and the aviation industry.

Why?
It is an amazing company to work for and there are a range of roles which can cater to everyone. There are amazing opportunities in this business and I would definitely recommend it.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Airbus?
When applying don't be nervous just be yourself be honest and enjoy it. Whatever the outcome, it is great experience and so embrace the experience.
