Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a Bar & Waiter as well as a Shift Supervisor. I run and lead shifts now and again whenever I am in charge and I also serve drinks and take food orders for guests given them a memorable experience from when they enter the building till they leave.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship has really allowed me to learn new skills and knowledge involved with hospitality which I've been able to transfer and show within my job role.

I have been able to learn many new skills as well as develop any existing skills I have already which has allowed me to be the best I can be within my job role.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program was really organised. I was able to understand what will be needed of me within the apprenticeship to allow me to pass overall.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive so much support from my employers. Theyre always looking out for me, making sure I am well mentally and physically, and are giving me the full support I need to excell within my job role. I cant thank them enough.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received so much support from my training provider. At points where I was finding the workload difficult, they were quick to help me out and make sure im not stressing myself out too much.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The apprenticeship has allowed me to gain and develop skills and knowledge which has really helped me preform better within my job role especially since ive only been a Shift Supervisor for just over a year now.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are always activities going on around Christmas time which I can get involved with as well as new opportunities which I can take on board within the workplace.

Yes
Why?
I believe MAB have many job opportunities which anyone can get involved with. There not just 1 path within the business so it gives someone the chance to find what they like
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mitchells and Butlers?
Just get stuck in and be the best person you can be as it will go a long way in the future.
