Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am working on a number of projects within Employer Branding, i also have opportunity to shadow in other areas of the business and wider Talent acquisition team. currently i am developing my marketing skills but i have also done some people management work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is a really great programme, there is so much support and opportunity to grow provided from my manager as well as the wider team.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt so many new skills and i still am! alongside my university work i am able to out the theory into practice in my on the job hours.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There is really clear communication between my course provider, my manager and myself.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have weekly 1:1 with my manager as well as Bi-Weekly catch ups with designated 'buddies' who are either further along the apprenticeship route or have been offboarded and can offer informal advice. These are only two of the many avenues of support Vodafone offers to Apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is always the opportunity to jump on a call with my Tutor who is more than happy to walk me thorough any queries. i also have access to the University's HELMS team who are available to support me with any academic questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Because of the set up of the degree i am able to get real life experience of the theory i am learning in my lectures, putting into practice as well as observing real life scenarios, this is invaluable.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a large community of both graduates and Apprentices, the 'youth committee' hold events regularly such as football and social events. There is also a departmental Hr youth group which hold socials.
