Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight consisted of masterclasses, introductions to the firm's practice areas, and time at an assigned desk. The introductions to the law related to sectors such as litigation, corporate, and employment, and the desk time was extremely helpful when preparing for the group project, which was presented at the conclusion of the week. Furthermore, individual sessions outside of the masterclasses involved feedback on CVs and interview skills.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was definitely fantastic to be able to begin to understand all about the business and possible roles within it. It certainly strengthened my aspirations in relation to the legal industry and allowed me to consider my options for my future.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
The individual interview session allowed me to significantly develop my presentation within an interview. I felt that by the end of the session I had gained valuable confidence in my ability to convey my points in a clear and professional manner. Moreover, the group presentation allowed me to further my skills with respect to application and analysis when it comes to applying the relevant law to a practical scenario.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and general atmosphere within the firm was wonderful. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and more than willing to answer any questions I had, if not at that moment then at a later point in the week.
