Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Day-to-day kitchen cleaning, kitchen clean down, cooking daily menu foods, daily prep of cold foods to sell, break time menus.
Started the apprentiship and have been learning on the go. I like learning new things and implementing change.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Really enjoyed my apprenticeship, struggled at times, but my skills coach has been really helpful and helped me with my confidence and believing in myself.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
My confidence has increased during the process of my apprenticeship.
Learnt a lot about our customers and demographic that we serve.
Become more professional in my role, ready for the next step up.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structure, good online coaching sessions and online group sessions. Good to hear others ideas in the group calls and do little tests.
Weekly catch ups with skills coach, very helpful
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My manager and ops manager have been very supportive, providing me with constant feedback and my manager helping me with my continual development, letting me shadow them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
They are always there when I have needed help. Always at the end of an email and provide you with their input and feedback when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
This is giving me confidence to believe that I can even if I am younger than the staff that we have.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Not loads that I know of, but there are Wow days and Grate days that bring everyone together and really helps to get to know people in similar positions. Also days going to head office for courses is fun as you meet all the people doing same apprenticeship as you.
