Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had practice sessions about each practice area in the firm. It was interactive and gave an idea about how the particular practice area in the firm works. We were sat with a principal (Associate) and had a trainee buddy, who would give us tasks and also were always available for any questions. They provided constructive feedback. You are warmly welcomed by the team as there are cake clubs or trolleys on wednesday or thursday. We also get to go to christmas lunches together with the team.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
You can have coffee chats and catchups with almost anyone in the firm, whether it be a partner, managing associate, associate or a trainee. They are approachable and would give you all insights about the firm, the work they do, the clients and deals that they have. They also are very honest about the workload and how living in London is.

We had sessions on how to use AI. We also had sessions wherein concepts like commercial law, banking and capital markets was explained to us from basics which was amazing.
