Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each intern is given a department, where they complete real work like taking minutes on calls, proofreading, and research tasks for a principal. I was sat in private equity.
Alongside this, you get morning sessions from trainee recruitment, which are cohort-wide introductions to practice areas, talks about pro bono, firm strategy tec.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Every is very friendly and supportive of the interns, people make time to speak to you and answer questions.
That being said, the lawyers are very busy and sometimes it may feel like your principal is de-prioritising you, so you may have to ask the same thing a few times until you find a time when they have the capacity to help you

Develop your technical knowledge in advance as two weeks is not lots of time to get up to scratch for the final interview when you're so busy
