5/5
Line Manager support is excellent, can communicate with Buddy/s and Mentor/s and receive regular coaching sessions. Coaching sessions are excellent and have been crucial to career planning and expanding my network.
How is your work-life balance?

Good balance but could be better - feel like there is a need to do overtime in order to keep finances in line. Salary isn't quite high enough to reflect current economic situation.

Line Managers and immediate team - excellent. Generally culture is very open, honest and welcoming. However, at a Programme / Office level there are lots of politics and can feel unwelcoming and frustrating at times.

5/5
How would you rate BAE Systems CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I've had an excellent experience and professionally developed a lot within my time so far. However, I would caveate that it is heavily reliant on falling into a good role. Graduate Scheme placements appear to be random, with some roles much more rewarding than others.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
2/5
I was placed on a platform I never signed up, nor wanted, to work on. Not met expectations at all based on recruitment process.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Use the STAR Method and know the company behaviours.
