Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each day we received talks from full-time Bloomberg employees about the Terminal and what they do each day, how they started at the company and the progression.
We had many networking sessions to chat to former Insight Weekers and Interns to discuss interview tips and get to know more about working at Bloomberg in the London office.
Additionally, we had a project for which we were split into groups of 5/6. We had to use the Terminal and conduct research on a particular topic and then present this on the last day to the assessors and Insight Week leads.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really insightful and I learnt a lot about Bloomberg as a whole. Before the week I know nothing.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Company culture is incredible. Free food, drinks and snacks ranging from breakfast, lunch and fizzy drinks.
Atmosphere was very welcoming and everyone is approachable.

Be yourself and show an interest in learning and finance. You don't need to have an economic or finance background at all, but an interest is key
