Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
It was an interesting start to the job. There is lots of training and the process to get authorisation to access content is slow however, I feel like it is slowly getting better for me and I can start to see the overall plan and vision.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Since I am a graduate I have a responsibility within my team to complete tasks and job related to my role. But, as a graduate I also have to complete tasks to help out at events and support the new starters to help them feel comfortable when they start their job.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
4/5
I'm not able to fully contribute due to the fact I'm waiting for training and other information.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
5/5
In terms of graduate positions you would struggle to find some as good as what BAE Systems offer.

4/5
I know that there is a lot of help and guidance available to help prepare you for your future career within BAE.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
4/5
I would say it's slow at the start. There is a lot of potential to develop you skills with a lot of options to go on training courses and listen to speakers. The culture at BAE makes it very easy to contact someone. If you have an issue then you can call anyone across the business and they will be more than happy to help. It makes it very easy to learn and understand more about tasks you're doing.

This is the best thing about working at BAE the work life balance is amazing. You have flexibility with what hours you work and you can make it work around your life. I have found that I am a lot happier now I a genuine balance between my private life and work life. I would struggle to find anything like this elsewhere.

I feel I'm not really in a position to comment on this fully since I have only been with my team for two months. My team is very new but the atmosphere is great we know tasks we each have to do and that it's a team effort.
