The role is demanding and the balance between work and life is more heavily skewed towards work, but the work is interesting and the firm has a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities can vary greatly between teams. Tasks can often be mechanical and process-focussed, but there are opportunities to do more intellectual work, like drafting.

Why?
Corporate law is not for everybody, but AOS is a very lovely firm to work at. The work/life balance issues are par for the course- the friendly culture of the firm makes this manageable.
