Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Supporting the school of english database discovering recent graduate career pathways. Assigning them SOC codes and helping those seen in more negative destinations get into positive. This involved getting in-touch with the whole cohort and discussing what they had been up to since leaving University.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given my own set of weekly tasks and monthly tasks which broke down the pressure into manageable chunks during my internship.

I received lots of support and had weekly meetings with my mentor on how I was doing and what tasks where to be assigned.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very friendly and helpful and any questions I had was answered. Any support I needed on tasks and setting up websites, LinkedIn pages etc was also supported.
