Responsibilities vary from one placement to another, however generally speaking you are asked to focus on a selection of projects for each placement, and each area will have its specific skillset. The responsibilities which I enjoyed most during the scheme were delivering on targets which had real importance to the function, and being trusted to sufficiently learn on the job to achieve the levels required for each placement

The support offered during the scheme was very good, although like most places the amount of support provided by line managers and buddies will very greatly depending on who is assigned to you. I found it difficult to acclimatise to the company and the scale of the operation to begin with, however there were plenty of people there to support when I needed it

Very good work/life balance and the salary when you finish the graduate scheme is often very competitive for most individuals. They are very willing to support your development and the overall level of pressure on you is quite low, despite workloads sometimes being quite high.
