Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
It had been good but very challenging in terms of where I have been placed during my graduate scheme.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I am responsible for bid management and looks at LCM Phase 1B to 2C and I worked to drive these bids forward to gain funding from the customer to get it on contract.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

It give me lots of opportunity however there has been lack of support.

Why?
Even though the team I have been placed in is not necessarily what has been good for me support wise but the opportunity wise and wider teams have really good attitude and will give you opportunity to learn and grow here.

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Yes, be patient with the hiring admin team as I had been dealt very poorly. Once my interview conducted in March/ April time I was told that I have been successful and will receive further information to start the role soon for Sep 2023 and next time I spoke it was told that role is going to be offered in 2024 Sep as there is no demand for staff in Project Management function. Also prepare well for the interview especially the role you applied for and if they do not have the role available that you applied for and have been offered a different role then ask more about it in detail so you are prepared properly for the interview as it may be a completely different role.
