Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
Incredible, the support and frameworks around graduates to develop their capabilities and integrate them into the workforce is far better than I have heard from other companies. There is a very inclusive and accepting culture and there is lots of room for people to take on additional responsabilities and try on different roles and activities.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I have stayed within one team as I have gotten on very well with the people within that team but in that role I have had the opportunities to take on a wide range of activities involving software development, testing, design and taking on smaller projects unrelated to my main role called stretch assignments.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Outside of the allotted time I am given to focus on graduate related activities, I am treated like a regular member of the team, taking on normal tasks, responsabilities and getting involved in team meetings and decisions.

The Interview is extemely important, BAE values people, communication and connection, so really try and connect with your interviewers, show as much of an interest in their role as you can.
