Ok, the graduate scheme could be better organised to get you a range of experiences that enable you to develop. The scheme involves three one year placements, whereas I would prefer 6 month placements

3/5
Range of experience could definitely be better
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
3/5
the formal training is excellent when they do it, but it is very infrequent.
I am studying for a CIMA qualification on the side which is interesting, but I do not use what i learn frequently in the day to day parts of my role

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Unilever to a friend?
No
Why?
Not a broad enough range of experiences, approach to training is poor so it's a lottery based on what line manager/role you get
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
3/5
Underperformed
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Unilever?
Stay calm through the interviews
