Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
Food working pattern as I have the opportunity to work from home on certain days. On the job, I have learnt many soft skills and skills relevant to the work I did my degree in.

Creating tasks for myself and others in my team

Because of my experience and expertise, I feel valued providing useful input to my team where I brainstorm ideas, possible problems and providing solutions and completing documents. spreadsheets and analyses according to the company's standard.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Advance salary option where I receive a set percentage of my salary upfront and it is deducted over the next 11 months is useful as I used that money for emergencies.

Because of the skills and work that I take part in, I believe I have not only gained new skills but I have advanced other skills.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

I reviewed and reflected myself every month to see what I have learnt, skills I have learnt or advanced and the feedback received from my LM or others to see how I can progress or improve. In my point of view, I was on track to developing new skills at a high extent and have garnered and sought a lot of knowledge in the last 9 months of the role.

I received support from experienced colleagues and SME's but not much in algorithm development as there are people in my team who aren't experienced or experts in certain toolsets.

I manage to balance my personal life very well with the work life. I have time for my family, health and taking care of my household.

There were some new toolsets I had to learn to use in the job but with training material, colleagues and advice from mentors, I learnt them. Other than that, the job role matched my expectations to what system engineering is.
