Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My days were split between working across all areas of the store and specialising in a project of choice. I was able to gain a good understanding of each department's KPIs while contributing to a business project with real impact.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed undertaking primary market research for my project. It was a proud moment to deliver my presentation and outline recommendations to head office. It was also good to see other areas of the business such as manufacturing and logistics site visit trips.

Don't be afraid to show your personality through the application process. You don't need to have a retail background to succeed. Ensure that you do sufficient research into Morrisons' values and their CSR commitments.
