Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
Fantastic, I have been able to put into use everything I enjoyed studying at university whilst having a solid support network if I encountered any issues.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My main responsibility is running and analysing computational fluid dynamics and coming up with solutions to tricky problems, and finding the solution to these various problems is very rewarding.

I have constant meetings with my managers regarding progress and training, if i have any issues i feel comfortable approaching my manager and have a solid support network outside of my specific team

I am able to completely put work down after the work day, and there has not been a demand of me yet to work extra at home or more than i am comfortable with

there is a good culture within the unit i work in, plenty of positive activities happen, and there is no stigma against occasionally working from home

Just be confident in the interview process, make sure you research the background of the company and the type of questions they will ask you.
